OUR LOGO

Our Logo is an original depiction showing the painted face of an indigenous man. Face painting is not done anymore, but in the past the facepaint in our logo was a very special design. This kind of painting was used when people went to visit other communities or other tribes. It means RESPECT. Using facepaint while visiting was a sign of respect for their neighbors’ land and their borders, respect for their way of living, and respect for their environment.

Javier wore this facepaint when he participated in the Pumphouse Theatre (see: Javier’s History). We liked the story behind this image so much that we not only choose it for our logo, but also for our name. It reflects 100% what we want to achieve with our small and different travel agency.

In this point we want to thank Karen Rhodes from the UK for designing our logo! Great work Karen xx!
